Web Cam Video Game Workshop, 11+

Learn how to use your web cam as a game controller in Scratch. Take your games off the screen and into the room by using your arms to wave flags, trigger sounds and move characters. For ages 11+.

This workshop will take place on ZOOM, you’ll recieve a link 24hrs before the workshop via email.

For this workshop you will need:

• Laptop with a webcam
• Access to the website Scratch (https://scratch.mit.edu)

This workshop is part of Signals’ ‘Talk Time’ project, where we’re exploring the history of communication technology along the Tendring coastline, especially in times of need. It is made possible with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
