The John Muir Award is a nationally recognised environmental award scheme for everyone. It’s non-competitive, inclusive and accessible. To achieve the Award you need to Discover, Explore, Conserve and Share your experience – all of which you’ll do at Fingringhoe Wick.
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop takes place at Fingringhoe Wick Nature Reserve. Signals will be taking participants in a taxi from our studio in central colchester at 9.30am, therefore you should be at Signals for this time. If you are not able to get to Signals for 9.30am the transport may leave without you. The workshops finish at 3pm and a taxi will bring participants back to Signals for around 3.30pm. Please tick the box on the booking form if you want to travel with us.
Over the next 12 months we’ll be running a variety of workshops for young people aged 11-25 at Fingringhoe Wick Nature Reserve, exploring some of the stories from the nature reserve through photography, filmmaking, video games and more. Thanks to funding from Heritage Lottery Fund its all FREE!
