Discover, explore and conserve wild places. Over four days you’ll learn to connect with, enjoy, and care for Fingringhoe Wick Nature Reserve. Share the experience through photography, wild writing and even filmmaking. You’ll work towards gaining a John Muir Award, the award scheme for people of all backgrounds – groups, families, individuals. It’s non-competitive, inclusive and accessible. Best of all? Its FREE!

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop takes place at Fingringhoe Wick Nature Reserve. For those who can’t make their own way there, Signals will be taking participants in a taxi from our studio in central colchester at 9.30am, therefore you should be at Signals for this time. If you are not able to get to Signals for 9.30pm the transport may leave without you. The workshops finish at 4pm and a taxi will bring participants back to Signals for around 4.30pm. Please tick the box on the booking form if you want to travel with us.

Over 12 months we’re running a variety of workshops for young people aged 11-25 at Fingringhoe Wick Nature Reserve, exploring some of the stories from the nature reserve through photography, filmmaking, video games and more. Thanks to funding from Heritage Lottery Fund its all FREE!
