Free accessible animation and filmmaking workshop for children and young people (11-18 years) with Autism Spectrum condition, made possible with funding from BBC Children in Need.
Using specialist filmmaking and animation equipment, participants will get the chance to make their own short films.
There is a maximum of 10 places available on the taster workshop – although free we require you to book in advance by calling the office on 01206 560255 or email info@signals.org.uk.
This taster session is the first of an 8 session summer filmmaking course where participants will work in a team to make a film. There are only 6 places for the course, and we would like participants to attend all sessions. Parents or carers must remain with participants for the first session and then until participants are comfortable.
This project is primarily for those on the autistic spectrum but we welcome young people with other Special Educational Needs who would benefit from the project.
