Signals BFI Graduate Jordan Freemster on the set of the Young Han Solo movie
Where are they now?
Once you have completed the course, you will become part of the growing BFI Film Academy alumni network with access to events such as BAFTA career talks. Some of our BFI graduates have gone on to study at university, or find jobs within the film industry – whilst others are already working on blockbuster films! After graduating our BFI Film Academy in 2016, Jordan Freemster applied for the BFI Lucasfilm Opportunity Programme and is now working on the Star-Wars spinoff Young Hans Solo movie. Watch him speak about this amazing experience here.
What’s more, you could also apply for one of our seven intensive residential programmes. Courses last between one and two weeks and are designed to develop more specialist filmmaking skills. You will work closely with leading industry professionals who will give you a unique insight into the filmmaking business and guide you along the way.
